District Court of Bonneville County, Idaho.

Case # CV-2011-0006974-OCDistrict

Last week, Vianna Stibal and her Theta Healing Institute of Knowledge stood trial in the District Court of Bonneville County, Idaho.  She was sued by one of her former students for FRAUD.

Vianna is not a stranger to the court system in Idaho.  A simple search in the public records will bring up several different misdemeanor run-ins with the law, as well as an instance of her suing an individual by the name of Guy Stibal.  Wait….  Yes.  THAT Guy Stibal.   It seems that back in 2001, Vianna even took to court her very own husband – Guy Stibal.    But we’ll save that for another post…

For now – let’s focus on what happened last week.

To be clear – this was not a criminal trial.  Vianna was not being brought to trial by the State of Idaho.  She was being sued by one of her former students for selling her something that did NOT work.  Namely – Theta Healing.

During the trial, testimonies were heard from several people associated with Theta Healing, and expert witnesses (see: trained and licensed Medical Doctors) were called to judge its validity.  Vianna herself even took the stand to attempt to defend Theta Healing and herself.  All of this took place over the course of 4 days and in front of a jury, mutually chosen by the attorneys for both parties.

In the end, the jury chose UNANIMOUSLY in favor of the student and that Vianna and Theta Healing were guilty of FRAUD.  Vianna and Co. will be forced to pay damages of an, as of now, undisclosed amount.

Please read that sentence again:  …the Jury chose UNANIMOUSLY.

These results are on public record.   And as more details become available, we will publish them here.

Vianna and Co. were unable to prove that Theta Healing works.

Their only line of defense was to say “I’ve seen it work.  I know it works.  It worked for me”.  Unfortunately (for Vianna) this is not proof.  This will never be proof.  Because Theta Healing will never be proven to work.

Because it doesn’t.

If you are someone who is investigating Theta Healing to see if it is something you want to invest time and money into – please take into consideration that it has been viewed as a fraud by the Court System of Idaho.

If you are someone who has invested money into Theta Healing in the past and feel that you were sold a false good and that you were defrauded of your money – consider the outcome of this case, and consider possible litigation.

If you are a Theta Healing practitioner – please ask yourself why you continue to support and spread the fraud?

If you are a Vianna supporter / defender – we ask you:  How would YOU defend Theta Healing if you were brought to trial?  (feel free to register your defense here in the comment section)

If you are law enforcement, the FBI, or a News Media organization – please look deeper into Theta Healing.  This fraud is global, and countless lives have been adversely effected by it.

More to come…

Truth will out.

** Trial Update** Day 1.

The trial of Vianna Stibal and Theta Healing officially began today.  She is standing trail for Fraud.

As it is a jury-decided trial, today was marked by jury selections from both the Plaintiffs and the Defendants.

Several people were removed in efforts to find the individuals who will be balanced and without bias when it comes time to make a sound judgement for the case.

Vianna was in attendance today.

It’s been a while since we’ve  had an appearance by Vianna.  Have you seen her recently?  One of the things we cannot possibly begin to fathom is this: Vianna and Theta Healers claim it can help an individual to “instantly” create the body they want and ultimate health.  The thing we keep wondering is this – why won’t Vianna use this miraculous ability on herself?  Anyone who’s seen this woman knows that she is far from the picture of health.  In fact, one could argue that she is the poster-person for a whole host of different health problems.

Watch the video below.  Specifically, skip to the 1:00 mark and see what Vianna has to say about creating instant vitality.  Of course after that she goes on to tell her calling-card story of having Cancer of the leg (Cancer of the leg?) and healing it instantly.  She says (and I quote):

“I went from them wanting to cut off my leg to a  perfect body.”

Um….perfect body?  Have you seen this woman recently?

Vianna goes on to talk about how, if you do NOT have an instant healing, it’s YOUR fault because you are blocking the healing from occurring.

Theta Healing works!

Unless it doesn’t.

And if it doesn’t, it’s YOUR fault.  You and your limiting beliefs.

(See how that works?)

Vianna was in attendance at the trial today.  And we can’t help but wonder – if she is the spokesperson for Theta Healing helping people to achieve the “perfect body” – is this what people signing up for Theta Healing sessions have to look forward to?

Is this the picture of the body that YOU want?

Heaven’s Gate versus ThetaHealing

We have to give credit where credit is due.

The following post was compiled from information that originally existed on Lindsey Stock’s now-deactivated website:  donttreadontruth.wordpress.com

In the post you are about to read, Lindsey had originally taken the time to draw the correlations that exist between Theta Healing and the notorious Heaven’s Gate cult, which tragically claimed the lives of 39 people in 1997 in San Diego.  As you will find, the comments made from members of both groups are disturbingly similar.   These parallels are not merely coincidence.  They are the statements made by members of cults.

Make no mistake about it:  Theta Healing is a cult.

Take the time to read the quotes and accounts from members of each group below.   And check back to this site as we will soon be doing a post on all of the ways that history and development of Theta Healing nearly mirrors the history and development of another very famous worldwide cult:  The Church of Scientology.

“I do not care for glory.” Marshall Applewhite, Founder, Heaven’s Gate®

♦ On March 26, 1997, near San Diego, CA, Marshall Applewhite led his followers of Heaven’s Gate® to their deaths, via suicide. They believed that the world as we know it was about to be “recycled” to start over and make way for a new civilization. When the Hale Bopp comet got closer to Earth, they took it as a sign that it was time to leave their “vessels” (bodies) and move on to the Next Level. While preparing for their eventual ‘turning in of their vessels’ (their bodies), they spread the word to others and chronicled their journey, which included their final words on video- later released to the media. 39 people took their lives that day, but there are still followers of this cult even today. They believed Applewhite to be Jesus reincarnated as “Do”.   http://www.heavensgate.com/

♦ In 1995, after allegedly being diagnosed with cancer, Vianna Stibal purported to heal that cancer instantly and spontaneously. From there she created a technique called Orian, later named ThetaHealing™. Vianna claims that using this technique that you can heal anything- mentally, physically, emotionally as well as inanimate objects. Members are taught that through her series of classes that you can receive a Doctorate of ThetaHealing, and that in one of her ‘upper’ classes, you can learn to walk through walls and refill liquids. All are taught that healings are instantaneous and, if they’re not, then you must do “Belief Work” to fix your personal blocks. To date, ThetaHealing reports members in the thousands throughout several different countries.

◊ Please Note: All pictures are from online testimonials of members of Heaven’s Gate® and ThetaHealing™. The order of the pictures do not necessarily correlate with the nearby quotations. Each picture of the Heaven’s Gate members do have quotations listed throughout the post; not all Theta Healers® have a quote on the post but are for the purpose of showing examples of those who were recorded giving testimonials.
